JAMMU, June 1: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu has strengthened its position among India’s premier management institutions by securing the 19th rank in the MBA Rankings 2026 of the prestigious Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) India Rankings 2026.
Demonstrating significant progress, the institute has improved its position to 19th position from 22nd rank. With an impressive overall index score of 923.13, IIM Jammu has earned recognition across key dimensions, including academic reputation, employability, research excellence, international outlook, institutional development, and stakeholder perception, a reflection of its growing national prominence, global outlook, and unwavering commitment to excellence in management education.
Expressing his happiness on the achievement, Prof B S Sahay, Director, conveyed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for its continued support and guidance. He also acknowledged Dr Milind P Kamble, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Jammu, and the Board of Governors for their visionary leadership and unwavering encouragement in guiding the institute’s journey to excellence. He reiterated that this recognition in the IIRF India Rankings 2026 reflects the collective commitment, dedication, and hard work of the entire IIM Jammu fraternity. He mentioned that the institute has rapidly evolved into a vibrant center of learning, innovation, research, academic excellence, and industry engagement through its strong academic foundation and globally oriented outlook.
