SAMBA, June 1: The Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, in collaboration with Dharam Jagran Samnway, organized a grand function to celebrate Maharana Pratap Jayanti at the Rajput Sabha Bhawan near Veer Bhoomi Park, Samba.
The mega event was held under the supervision of Samba District President Amardeep Singh Sambyal, and his team. The event witnessed massive public participation from various communities, showcasing strong social unity and communal harmony.
MLA Samba, Surjeet Singh Slathia was the chief guest of the function. The programme was presided over by Narayan Singh Jamwal, Chairman of the Sabha. The function was held in the presence of Bishan Singh, State President of the Rajput Sabha, Purani Mandi, Jammu, J&K.
Main speaker of the programme was Tarsem Singh Chib from Dharam Jagran Samnway, who delivered a profound and thought provoking key address. He strongly emphasized the need for preserving cultural roots, protecting national integrity, and adopting the timeless principles of Maharana Pratap in modern society to build a resilient nation.
Chief guest Surjeet Singh Slathia highlighted the legendary warrior’s unmatched valour, patriotism, and lifelong sacrifice for his motherland. He urged the public, especially the youth, to draw deep inspiration from Maharana Pratap’s exemplary life.
Naryan Singh Jamwal paid rich tribute to Maharana Partap recalling his unmatched, valour patriotism, and selfless service to the motherland. He emphasized that the younger generation must uphold righteousness, courage, and selfless dedication to the welfare of society.
Also urging the society to join hands for dismantling drug networks and establish a healthy, drug-free environment for future generations, he made an emotional appeal to families, parents, and community elders to proactively monitor their children’s activities and friend circles.
On the occasion, the Sabha honoured several prominent individuals for their outstanding contributions toward guiding, mentoring, and empowering the younger generation. Proceedings of the mega event were smoothly conducted by Rakesh Singh.
The Sabha General Secretary Mangleshwar Singh, Secretary Narinder Singh, Samba District Chairman Capt Inder Singh, General Secretary Ashu Singh, Raman Singh, Master Shankar Singh, Sukhdev Singh (Shambu), Vinod Singh Binny, Suresh Singh, Om Singh, Razor Singh Sambyal on others were among the prominent present on the occasion.
