KATRA, May 30: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Technology Business Incubation Centre (SMVDU TBIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute Incubation and Innovation Council (I3C), IIT Jammu to strengthen collaboration in startup incubation, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The MoU was signed by Dr Sanjay Mohan, CEO, SMVDU TBIC and Dr Nalin Kumar Sharma, Faculty Incharge Startup & Investment, I3C IIT Jammu in the presence of Dr Rashi Taggar, Deputy CEO, SMVDU TBIC and Akash Sharma, Manager, I3C IIT Jammu.
The partnership will focus on joint investment opportunities for startups, access to prototyping facilities at IIT Jammu for SMVDU TBIC startups, and pre-incubation support for selected startup teams. Both institutions will also collaborate on workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, and other ecosystem-building activities to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
