KARGIL, May 28: The Markazi prayers of the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha were offered with great religious zeal, spiritual fervor, and devotion under the Imamat of Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Hashim Hussaini at the premises of Hawza-e-Ilmiyah Isna Asharia Kargil.
The grand congregation was organized by Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh in the presence of a large gathering of believers, scholars, students, elders, and youth from different parts of the region.
In his Eid sermon (Khutbah), Hojjat-ul-Islam Syed Hashim Hussaini highlighted the spiritual philosophy and divine message of Eid-ul-Adha in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran’an and the Ahlulbayt (AS). He emphasized that Eid-ul-Adha is not merely a celebration of sacrifice, but a manifestation of complete submission, sincerity, obedience, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS).
He further stated that the school of Ahlulbayt (AS) teaches humanity the true essence of sacrifice, justice, patience, unity, and service to mankind. Referring to the current challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, he urged the believers to strengthen Islamic brotherhood, moral values, and social responsibility while remaining steadfast on the path of truth and righteousness.
The gathering also witnessed special prayers for peace, prosperity, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and well-being of humanity. Prayers were offered for the oppressed people across the world, particularly remembering those suffering from injustice, violence, and hardships.
The atmosphere at the Hawza-e-Ilmiyah was filled with spirituality, devotion, and the spirit of Islamic unity as thousands of faithful participated in the congregational prayers. Volunteers and organizers from Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the prayers and related programs.
