Arvind starts drainage project

JAMMU, May 20: MLA Jammu West and senior BJP leader, Arvind Gupta here today started the construction work of a drainage system in Ward No. 12, Krishna Nagar.
The project will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 58 lakh and it was a long-pending demand of the locals of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta said that development of basic infrastructure remains his top priority and every Ward of Jammu West Constituency is witnessing continuous developmental activities.
He further said that the BJP is committed to strengthening the urban infrastructure and ensured that all the genuine concerns of the people will be addressed on priority.
“Public welfare and development are our foremost commitments. We are working tirelessly to ensure that every locality of Jammu West gets modern infrastructure and better civic facilities,” the MLA said.
BJP Mandal president Talab Tillo, Anil Angral, Pratibha Sharma, Ramesh Kumar, Chaksu Kapoor, Raj Kumar Sharma, Pankaj Gupta, Surjit Chib, Bisham, Kanta Devi, Ajay Singh Chib along with AE and JE of UED and prominent locals of the area were also present on this occasion.
