JAMMU, May 20: In a significant step towards strengthening military logistics, operational preparedness and institutional coordination, Northern Command Chief, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, chaired the annual Army Service Corps (ASC) – Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) Conference and Supply & Transport (S&T) Conclave 2026.
The high-level event marked an important milestone in reinforcing synergy between the Indian Army and critical logistics stakeholders responsible for sustaining military readiness across strategically sensitive and challenging terrains.
The conference, organised under the leadership of Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, focused on enhancing cooperation between the Army Service Corps and Oil Marketing Companies by streamlining operational procedures, implementing updated policy directives and encouraging the adoption of best practices in logistics and fuel management.
