JAMMU, May 19: The Central Government has transferred 2021 batch IPS officer Diksha from the Bihar cadre to the AGMUT cadre on grounds of her marriage to 2022 batch IPS officer of Jammu district, Dwarka Gaadhi.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the transfer was approved under the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the concurrence of the Governments of Bihar and AGMUT.
Dwarka Gaadhi, a resident of Bishnah in Jammu district, is presently serving in the AGMUT cadre.
He had cleared the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination in his third attempt, securing All India Rank 412.
He completed his schooling from Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, and graduated from MAM College, Jammu.
