HREF announces 300 scholarships for Govt school students

JAMMU, May 16: Harbans Roshan Bhalla Educational Foundation (HREF) has announced 300 scholarships for the academic session 2026-27 for students belonging to financially weaker sections studying in Government schools.
The foundation will organize a 13-day scholarship selection drive from May 18 to May 30 at Bee Enn General Hospital Complex, Talab Tillo Road, Jammu. The selection process will be conducted daily from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. According to the foundation, the initiative aims to support deserving students, especially girls and children from rural areas, by providing continuous educational assistance and scholarships till college education.
Students studying in classes 1st to 3rd in Government schools and belonging to economically weaker families are eligible to apply for the programme.
HREF has been working in the field of education since 1997 and is currently supporting nearly 750 students through its scholarship programmes. With the addition of 300 new scholarships this year, the foundation seeks to further strengthen educational opportunities for underprivileged children and help them secure a better future through quality education support.
