UDHAMPUR, May 16: Udhampur Police today conducted demolition drive against the illegal encroachment by a notorious drug peddler Imran Khan son of Mohd Lateef of Koshar, Tehsil Chenani, District Udhampur.
The demolition was conducted in connection with FIR No. 31/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Chenani. During investigation, it surfaced that the accused had illegally encroached upon two kanals of land at village Koshar, Tehsil Chenani and had constructed a house over the encroached land.
The said property was found to be illegally acquired and raised through proceeds of drug peddling. Acting as per legal procedure, the demolition drive against the illegal structure is underway.
