KISHTWAR, May 15: Two bikers were injured here this evening after they were hit by a car in Padder area.
As per reports, a car bearing registration number JK7A 3093 hit a motorcycle with registration number JK5407 in Kundal area leaving the two bike riders injured.
The injured were identified as Imtiaz Ahmad, son of Gh Qadir Khandey, resident of Kijaie Padder and Mohd Salman, son of Mohd Amin Khandey, resident of Kijai.
Both the injured were shifted to SDH Atholi from where after preliminary treatment they were taken to District Hospital Kishtwar. Imtiaz Ahmad being critical was referred to GMC Jammu for specialised treatment.
SDPO Padder DySP Vijay Bhagat said Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation. The erring car has been seized but the driver managed to escape from spot. He is believed to be local of Padder.
