JAMMU, May 13: The Finance Department has implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) through Sandes SMS service on the JK BEAMS Portal to strengthen the security framework of the online system.
According to a circular issued by Financial Commissioner (ACS), Shailendra Kumar, the MFA system has been made operational in the live environment and all Director Finances, Financial Advisors, Chief Accounts Officers, Accounts Officers, Drawing and Disbursing Officers and Maker/Checker users have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the new security measures
