BTSM celebrates Foundation Day

JAMMU, May 5: Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM) here today celebrated its 28th Foundation Day by taking a pledge to work wholeheartedly for the cause of Tibet.
Addressing a gathering on this occasion, Dr. Vivek Sharma, State president BTSM (J&K and Ladakh), said BTSM was established in Dharamshala on May 5, 1999 with the idea of Tibet’s independence.
“At that time, even speaking about Tibet’s independence appeared impossible,” he further said adding that today the demand for Tibet’s independence has spread across the world.
Dr. Sharma said that the issue of Tibet is now heard across the globe and BTSM has played a significant role in raising this awareness.
“Tibet was once an independent country and has never been a part of China. A day will come when Tibet and Kailash Mansarovar will be liberated through the efforts of BTSM which will also strengthen India’s security,” he concluded.
Rajinder Sadotra, general secretary noted that BTSM is functioning effectively across the country under the guidance of Indresh Kumar, senior RSS Pracharak.
Dr. Rajesh Sharma, vice president of BTSM also spoke on the occasion.
Ramneek Singh, Dr. Nitan Sharma, Danish Magotra, Ruchika Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
