JAMMU, May 5: Sat Sharma CA, president J&K BJP and MP, Rajya Sabha today said that education plays a vital role in shaping a strong and progressive nation.
He was speaking at a function at party office here held in connection with unveiling of cover page of BJP spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan’s upcoming book ‘Education’.
Sat Sharma said that education helps individuals develop values, discipline, and a sense of duty. He emphasized that education should prepare individuals not just for employment but also for life and responsible citizenship.
BJP general secretary and former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria, secretary, Arun Sharma senior leaders, Karan Singh, Praduman Singh and Raveesh Mengi we’re also present on the occasion.
The book, aims to present a thoughtful and comprehensive perspective on the importance of education. The cover page design reflects the idea that education is a continuous journey that empowers individuals to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society. It also symbolizes growth, learning, and the pursuit of knowledge in a changing world.
Sat Sharma further said that in today’s fast-changing world, education must adapt to new challenges and opportunities. He highlighted the need for a system that is inclusive, practical, and capable of reaching every section of society. He added that books like “EDUCATION” can guide policymakers, teachers, and students alike in understanding the real essence of learning.
Sat Sharma also remarked that knowledge should always be used for the betterment of society. He urged the youth to take education seriously and use it as a tool to build a better future. He appreciated the efforts of Balbir Ram Rattan for such a monumental work and expressed confidence that the book would be widely appreciated.
