JAMMU, May 1: Today a warm and heartfelt farewell was accorded to Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ) on his superannuation after rendering 34 years of dedicated and meritorious service in the Health Department.
Dr Zargar served in various capacities during his distinguished career, including extensive postings in peripheral and remote areas under challenging conditions.
His commitment to duty in such tough and underserved regions reflects his dedication towards strengthening public healthcare services.
A warm and memorable farewell ceremony was organized at Government College for Women (GCW), Udhampur, to mark the superannuation of Jagdish Kumar Badyal, Section Officer.
The event was gracefully arranged by the College Principal and staff members to honour his long and dedicated service in the Department of Higher Education and witnessed the participation of teaching and non-teaching staff, along with the family members of the retiree.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college Dr Nalini Pathania lauded the outstanding services of Section Officer Jagdish Kumar Badyal, describing him as a sincere, soft-spoken and highly dependable officer.
She extended her heartfelt wishes for his healthy, peaceful and fulfilling retired life.
GRP Jammu hosted an impressive farewell function to bid adieu to SI Abdul Hamid, who superannuated from his active service.
Vivek Gupta, IGP Railways J&K & SSP GRP Jammu, Shailender Singh along with other officers, officials participated in the function.
The relatives of the superannuated SI Abdul Hamid also took part in the event.
