JAMMU, Apr 27: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Regional Office Jammu, conducted its flagship programme ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ at the premises of JK Oil Industries, Phase-3rd Industrial Extension Area, Gangyal, Jammu, aimed at strengthening stakeholder awareness and improving service delivery at the grassroots level.
The programme was presided over by Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer, along with Bal Krishan, Enforcement Officer, who emphasized the importance of proactive engagement with employers and employees to ensure timely and accurate access to EPFO services. They highlighted that such initiatives play a vital role in enhancing transparency, compliance, and trust in the social security framework.
Participants were apprised of key Government initiatives focused on expanding social security coverage and strengthening labour welfare. Officials informed that the “Employees’ Enrolment Scheme 2025”, operational from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, provides establishments an opportunity to enroll eligible employees and regularize pending records in a simplified manner with a nominal penalty of Rs 100.
The gathering was also briefed on the proposed implementation of the Four Labour Codes, which aim to consolidate and modernize existing labour laws. These reforms are expected to ensure fair wages, safer workplaces, and comprehensive social security, contributing to the broader vision of Aatamnirbhar Bharat.
Special focus was laid on the “Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY)”. It was informed that 2,371 establishments and 35,118 employees in the Jammu Division have already registered under the scheme, indicating encouraging progress in formal employment generation.
To streamline registration, the establishment modification request facility is being enabled on the PMVBRY portal, allowing employers to submit PAN change requests conveniently.
Senior representatives from JK Oil Industries present included Kshitiz Agarwal, Partner, Jungbahadur Singh, HR Executive and Sanjay Kumar, Accountant, along with Bal Krishan, Enforcement Officer.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed EPFO’s commitment to delivering efficient, accessible, and responsive social security services across the Jammu division.
