UDHAMPUR, Apr 26: In two separate NDPS cases, Udhampur Police has attached properties worth Rs 73 lakhs under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
In connection with FIR No. 09/2026 U/S 8/21/22/27(A)/29 NDPS Act of Police Station Majalta, immovable and movable properties worth Rs 65 lakhs belonging to accused Saif Ali, son of Shukr Din, resident of Amara Nikki, Tehsil Majalta, District Udhampur, have been attached under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act.
The attached property includes a newly constructed residential house and movable assets including one Alto car, bearing registration numbers JK14G-8317, one Pulsar motorcycle (JK14G-7420) and one Oppo mobile phone.
In second case, movable property worth Rs 8 lakhs, comprising a Swift Dzire car, bearing registration number DL2CAZ-1209, belonging to accused Danish Butt, son of Sabdar Mohd, resident of Butpora, Chiralla, District Doda, has been attached under Section 68(F) NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 32/ 2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Rehambal.
With these attachments, Udhampur Police has so far attached properties worth Rs 1.50 crore belonging to drug peddlers under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
