KATRA, Apr 24: Katra Police have attached an illegally acquired property belonging to a notorious drug peddler.
According to Police, a vehicle bearing Registration No. JK21A-0829, owned by notorious drug peddler Vishal Sharma alias Murli, son of Mohan Lal of Mandian Mohalla Reasi, A/P Parthal Katra, District Reasi, has been attached under the provisions of Section 107(5) BNSS by the orders of the Court of Sub Judge Katra.
The accused is involved in multiple NDPS cases registered at Police Station Katra, including FIR No. 266/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act and FIR No. 65/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act. His continuous involvement in narcotics-related activities had made him a subject of close surveillance by Reasi Police.
