SAMBA, Apr 23: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 7 grams of heroin-like substance from Bari Brahamana area here today.
Officials said Rakesh Kumar of Garn, Katra, Reasi District was arrested with the consignment whilst he was moving under suspicious circumstances from Teli Basti side towards Kikri Morh area.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 104/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bari Brahamana and further investigation taken up, they said.
