MSJK demands ban on liquor sale

JAMMU, Apr 19: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple staged a protest demonstration demanding ban on the sale of liquor in J&K to curb the menace of drug addiction.
Addressing the protesters Dimple alleged that the Government has opened 300 new liquor shops in Jammu only. He said that domestic violence has increased due to liquor consumption.
Dimple claimed that unemployment is one reason for the youth to fall prey to drugs.
The MSJK leader further said all the borders should be sealed to stop drug smuggling and life imprisonment should be given to drug peddlers.
He welcomed the 100 day anti-drugs drive started by LG Manoj Sinha.
Vijay Khajuria, Dev Raj, Bishan Das, Vipan, Mukesh, Rakesh Sharma, Ram Kumar, Akbar Khan, Shafi Khan, Nazier Ahmad and many others were also present in the protest.
