Trump got trumped

There are always reasons for wars
Whatever be the reasons come what may must stop wars.
War a big tragedy and a holocaust of sort
Whenever, wherever and whoever fought
Pains and sufferings it brought
Shrieks and groans were heard a lot.
These were fought, won and lost
But must end to stop holocaust.
A way forward is restraint , dialogue and diplomacy
Among nations and leaders close intimacy.
Deliberations , debates and discussions are no less
Considering ramifications and repercussions for the best .
All leaders must put heads together
Come together and work together.
For the future benefit of all and for the better
Wars must stop altogether.
An important agenda atop for the better
An optimistic option better and far better.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbhakam
The world is one family , learn from Bharat
Stop wars indeed for the benefit of all.

Don’t Look Into Mirrors

I don’t look into mirrors,
Yet the mirror stares at me-
Hungry for an identity,
One I refuse to keep.
Then a voice from the margins,
Staring from distant miles,
Tries to hand me words-
Names I never chose.
My rage rises within,
And I finally speak:
You need not worry,
You need not define me.
Not with your alphabets,
Nor with the limits you draw-
I am not meant
To live within your lines.
I am a nameless being,
Unbound, undefined-
And the Kafka within me whispers:
“I will not be easily defined.”

Not Alone

Before going to extremes,
always reflect and introspect.
Think not only about yourself alone,
but about the contributions of the people around you –
those who stand by you, protect you,
and in return simply need you.
So think, reflect, observe,
and bring balance within yourself.
Thus, become a source of bliss
for yourself and for everyone around you.
