JAMMU, Apr 16: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple against the bad condition of Jammu city roads and traffic problems.
The protesters raised slogans against JMC, PWD, PHE and Jammu MLAs.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple alleged that JMC, PHE and PWD only collect revenue but do not work.
He said that the issue of bad roads in Jammu city was brought to the notice of concerned authorities but so far there is no improvement and only hollow assurances were given every time.
“For the last one year, roads were damaged but still no repair has been done so far while the Jammu based MLAs are only drawing hefty salaries and are not performing,” he maintained adding that the traffic problem has further disturbed the people of Jammu a lot.
The JWAM leader also raised the issue of non-functional street lights and sanitation condition in Jammu city.
Rupesh Bhat, Anmol Anand, Sachin Soi, Ajay Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Yash Kumar, Gourav Hans, Vicky, Surinder Kumar and many others were also present in the protest.
