Saksham delegation discusses empowerment initiatives with Himachal Governor

JAMMU, Apr 14: A delegation of Saksham from Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh (HP) called on the Himachal Governor Kavinder Gupta as part of an important initiative towards empowerment.
The delegation comprised Abhay Pargal, National joint secretary, Saksham; Swami Vishwanathan, Regional organization secretary and RSS pracharak; Ajay Pargal, State executive member; and Prof Dr Mahendra Singh Aashawat, vice president of Saksham Himachal.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the organization’s objectives, with special emphasis on empowering persons with disabilities by enhancing their skills, promoting self-reliance, and ensuring greater participation in society.
The delegation also suggested the implementation of new welfare schemes through coordinated efforts at the state level to provide improved support and expanded opportunities for persons with disabilities.
