JAMMU, Apr 8: A meeting of All J&K Megh Sabha was held here today under the chairmanship of Narinder Datt, Sabha president.
The main agenda of the meeting was to raise awareness and draw the attention of the Government towards the alleged discrimination faced by the Scheduled Caste (SC) community in the appointment and elevation of Judges to J&K & Ladakh High Court (HC).
Speaking in the meeting, Narinder Datt urged the higher authorities to take serious and genuine cognizance of the issue and ensure fair representation to the SC community in HC.
The meeting was attended by Rajinder Kumar Bhagat, Sabha vice president, Vishal Bhagat, Ravi Kant, coordinator, Sudesh Bhagat, Girdhari Lal, Doulat Ram, Balkrishan, Varinder Kumar and many others.
