Hanuman Jayanti celebrated with fervour

JAMMU, Apr 2: Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with immense devotion and spiritual fervour at various places here today.
A grand function was organised in this regard at Shiv Mandir, Trikuta Nagar under the supervision of the temple management committee headed by its president, Shiv Kumar Jolly.
Devinder Seth played a key role in organizing and managing the entire function.
The temple premises were beautifully decorated with vibrant red and yellow balloons, lights and traditional adornments, creating a divine and festive ambiance for devotees. A large number of devotees visited the temple and offered prayers to Lord Hanuman.
On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Rashtriya Bajrang Dal organized a grand Shobha Yatra and rally.
The procession commenced from Om Palace in Shakti Nagar and after passing through various routes, concluded back at Shakti Nagar.
The religious and cultural event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the organization Movement Kalki whose key members including Pritam Sharma, Deepak Singh and Thakur Kalyan Chand led a large number of workers during the procession.
Under the leadership of Sapna Hindu, women actively contributed to the success of the programme.
Prominent participants included Sushma Sharma, Antu Kotwal and Anuradha Yogi among others.
Slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Jai Veer Bajrangi’ echoed the air.
Meanwhile, Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust celebrated Hanuman Jayanti at Durga Temple, Subhash Nagar, Jammu. On this occasion, the Trust’s president, Mahant Rohit Shastri, stated that the festival of Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm and devotion.
Hanuman Chalisa was recited 108 times, followed by other rituals.
At the conclusion of the programme, Trustee R.K Chhibber appealed to the youth to protect the environment and keep their surroundings green and clean.
Temple Management Committee president, M.L Verma, Prabodh Sharma, Ravi Gupta, Sunil Vaidya, Ashish Gupta, Nikhil Verma, Pandit Vaidya Prakash, Pandit Vimlesh, Pandit Mukesh and others were also present on the occasion.
