UDHAMPUR, Sept 22: Team Jammu-a group of intellectuals, technocrats, medicos and writers, today reached out the inhabitants of the ill-fated Saddal village and distributed some relief to express their solidarity with them at the time of distress.
Members of the Team Jammu reached Panjer village where survivors of Saddal village have been putting up in tents and distributed some relief which is required for survival.
Interacting with the survivors of the Saddal village, members of the Team Jammu made it clear that they have reached out to them only to express their solidarity and to give moral support to them as it was impossible to compensate the losses which these families have suffered due to nature’s fury.
They assured the residents that they would not take rest until and unless all affected families would be completely and properly rehabilitated within a timeframe. They further assured the residents that they would try to arrange as much as possible relief for them so as to minimize their miseries. The Team also assured to provide medical facilities to the affected families.
Earlier, the Team Jammu members visited Dugdugee Mohalla of Udhampur and distributed some relief among flood affected families. The has already announced to reach each and every flood affected families of Jammu region so as to minimize their miseries. With the support of doctor members, the Team Jammu has also decided to organise medical camps in the flood affected areas.
