JAMMU, Mar 24: Demanding a ban on the sale of Liquor, a protest by Sunil Dimple, president mission statehood Jammu Kashmir was held here today.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple demanded LG Manoj Sinha and CM Omar Abdullah to pass a bill assembly to ban the sale of Liquor and ban wine shops in J&K as in Gujrat and other states.
Dimple alleged BJP MLAs should also support the bill to ban the sale of liquor in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said, “The NC alliance Government has a majority of MLAs and should pass a bill to ban the sale of Liquor, to save our coming generations.”
Dimple also appealed to all the ninety MLAs to unite and pass a bill to ban the sale of liquor in Jammu Kashmir.
He said, “All BJP MLA’s should approach HM Amit Shah and demand the NLU University is to be sanctioned by the central Government in Jammu and Ladakh.”
Among others who were present included Vijay Khjuria, Dev Raj, Amit Raina, Vipan, Mukesh, Rakesh Sharma, Ram Kumar Das, Akbar Khan, Shafi Khan, Nazier Ahmad and Nasir.
