Balloons with Pakistani markings found in Samba, probe on

SAMBA, Mar 23: Two suspicious balloons with Pakistani markings were recovered from different locations in Samba today, creating panic in the areas, officials said.
The first balloon was found outside the Tehsil office in the Purmandal area, where alert locals noticed it and informed the police.
Accordingly, a team rushed to the spot and seized the yellow and white balloon carrying the inscription “SGA” along with some Urdu text.
In a similar incident, another balloon was spotted in Tainth village of Nud block in the evening.
The white and brown balloon had “SGA” and “Pakistan International Airlines” written on it.
Police immediately reached the area and took the balloon into custody.
Officials said a probe has been launched to ascertain the source and purpose of the balloons, while security agencies have stepped up vigilance in the region.
