* Seeks restoration of Statehood

JAMMU, Mar 21: A delegation of JKPCC headed by its working president, Raman Bhalla alongwith PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Ex-general secretary PCC Amrit Bali and Col Ravinder Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Adv Ankur Sharma, Darshan Raina, Ex- Sarpanch Ravinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh and other leaders met LG Manoj Sinha in Lok Bhawan Jammu today and raised various burning issues of different sections including restoration of statehood, LPG crisis in J&K, full package to refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 besides grant of ST-2 status to them.

The delegation explained the comprehensive package recommended by Congress NC Government in 2014 on the instructions of Dr Manmohan Singh comprising Rs 30 lakh per family besides other components but only Rs 5.50 lakh was sanctioned, which too has not been disbursement to all registered families, so far.
The delegation sought full package and ST- 2 status to refugees of POJK. The delegation apprised the LG about the LPG crisis and asked for additional quota for J&K in view of pilgrimage and tourists state.
The delegation expressed deep concern over the increase in crime in Jammu and demanded additional recruitment and deployment to check crime and drug affairs. They sought rehabilitation and relief for flood affected people and allocation of funds to Urban Development Department.
The delegation referred to the plight of Kashmiri migrant community and demanded concrete action to enhance their relief and rehabilitation.
The delegation highlighted the issue of regularization of daily wagers and other temporary, contractuals in different departments and demanded a package and funds for their regularization.
Meanwhile, a public delegation from Udhampur led by Jasvir Singh, former member, District Development Council, Panchari-Moungri, called on Lieutenant Governor.
Subsequently, representatives of Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee, a delegation of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, J&K and Vipen Kumar, Chairman All Jammu based Reserve Category Employees Association Kashmir also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
Advocate Murtaza Khan, former MLC and senior BJP leader also called on Lieutenant Governor.
A delegation of BJP OBC Morcha, J&K led by its President Braham Jyot Satti also called on Lieutenant Governor.
