JAMMU, Mar 14: The J&K unit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has flayed the decision to allow a non-local milk company to set booths on public spaces and footpaths in the city and termed the move unjust for local traders, small dairy vendors and unemployed youth.
In a handout, J&K Shiv Sena president, Manish Sahni claimed that several prominent footpaths and public spaces in Jammu are being allotted to an outside milk brand.
He demanded that the administration and Jammu Municipal Corporation should formulate a transparent policy for allotment of public spaces, ensuring priority to local traders, dairy vendors and unemployed youth. Sahni said that Shiv Sena would be forced to launch protests if rights of local continue to be ignored.
