JYBT to organise Maa Chandi Path at Haridwar Bhawan

JAMMU, Mar 12: The Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) is going to organize a Maa Chandi Path and Shree Ramayana Paath at the Haridwar Bhawan, providing a spiritual platform for devotees to seek blessings of Maa Durga Ji, during Navratri Parav.
This was announced by Pawan Kumar Shastri, president of the JYBY, in a press conference held here today.
He said, “The coming “Chaitra Vasant Navratri Parav-2026” commencing from Thursday, March, 19th, 2026 and culminating on Friday, March 27, 2026 is a celebration of the divine feminine energy of “Goddess Adi-Shakti Maa Durga Ji”.
The nine days festival is dedicated to the nine incarnations of Goddess Durga, each representing a unique aspect of the divine feminine power.
The Navrtri Parav hold immense religious significance, as it symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and awakening of spiritual consciousness.
Devotees worship the nine forms of Goddess Maa Durga Ji “Maa Shailputri”, “Maa Brahmacharni”, “Maa Chandra-ghanta”, “Maa Kushmanda”, “Maa Skandamata”, “Maa Katyayani”, “Maa Kalratri”, “Maa Mahagauri” and “Maa Siddhidatri Ji” to seek her blessings and protection from negative forces.
Shastri further said that as embodied in the sacred texts, the eleven forms of Maa Durga Ji-comprising the “five Gyan Indrias” (Sense of knowledge: eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin) the “five karma Indrias” (organs of action: hand, feet, mouth, organs of excretion and organ of generation) and the “Mind” are manifestations of the supreme power of the Goddess Maa Durga Ji.
“JYB at its Haridwar Bhawan invites all devotees of Maa Durga Ji to participate in Maa Chandi Paath & Shree Ramayans Paath,” he added.
