JAMMU, Mar 1: An alleged fraudster was arrested by the police in Domana area here today.
Manjeet Kumar of Lower Thather, who was wanted for his involvement in multiple cheating cases worth crores, has been arrested by a team of Police Station Domana, a police official said.
According to him, the accused has deceived several innocent people through various fraudulent activities, including cheating in land deals, falsely promising to arrange visas for foreign travel, and impersonating a fake spiritual baba to gain public trust and extract money.
He had been evading his arrest for a long time, the police official said, adding that acting on specific information, he was arrested today.
He said the accused would now be presented in the court of law for further legal action.
