RAJOURI, Feb 22: A group of youth staged a protest on the main road in Rajouri, alleging misbehaviour with patients at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.
The protesters expressed concern over the reported incident and demanded strict action against the concerned officials. The protest was held peacefully, with the youth urging the administration to ensure better patient care and accountability in the hospital.
Responding to the allegations, the Principal of GMC Rajouri, Dr A S Bhatia, stated that an enquiry will be conducted into the matter and appropriate action will be taken against the concerned officials if found guilty. He further added that the functioning and overall facilities of the institution have improved significantly over time, and the administration remains committed to providing quality healthcare services to the people of the district.
The hospital administration has assured the public that patient welfare remains their top priority and that necessary steps will be taken to address grievances in a timely manner.
