JAMMU, Jan 28: BJP spokesperson and former Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma on Wednesday strongly criticized the opposition for deliberately creating a confrontational atmosphere ahead of the crucial Budget Session of Parliament, stating that such tactics are aimed at derailing Parliamentary proceedings instead of contributing constructively to nation-building.
Purnima Sharma said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Central Government remains firmly focused on strengthening India’s economic foundation, ensuring welfare for the poor, empowering farmers, and creating employment opportunities for youth, even as the Opposition indulges in political disruption.
She asserted that Parliament cannot be run on the political agenda of any single party. “The Modi Government has never shied away from discussion, but debates must take place strictly within Parliamentary rules, Constitutional norms, and established procedures,” she said.
