JAMMU, Jan 14: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar has withheld the salaries of two Patwaris over alleged dismal performance in the digitization of Jamabandies (revenue settlements).
“In view of the poor performance in the digitization of Jamabandies by the official namely Nisar Ahmad Beigh (Patwari Halqa Changer) and Javeed Iqbal (Patwari Halqa Dehrana) and to ensure maintenance of discipline, and effective utilization of services in public interest, the salary of these officials is hereby kept withheld till further orders,” read an order issued by DC Kishtwar.
