JAMMU, Jan 10: The valedictory function of two five-day specialised training programmes was held today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur, marking the successful completion of courses on “Investigation of Cyber Crime” and “Women Safety”.
A total of 48 officers from different police units, including one officer from Himachal Pradesh, took part in the programmes sponsored by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and the Bureau of Police Research and Development.
Deputy Director (Indoor Trainings), SKPA Udhampur, Rajinder Kumar Gupta, who was the chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the Academy for organising need-based training and stressed the importance of strengthening skills in cyber crime investigation and women safety in view of emerging challenges.
The programmes included interactive sessions by expert resource persons, which helped enhance the professional and investigative capabilities of the participants.
Course certificates were distributed at the concluding function, followed by a vote of thanks.
The course of “Women Safety” was coordinated by Raiz Ahmed, Senior PO, assisted by SI Sardhari Lal, while the course on “Investigation of Cyber Crime” was coordinated by Inspector Chander Mohan Sharma, assisted by Selection grade Constable Tejinder Chopra, Member Faculty.
