RAJOURI, Jan 3: District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today visited the heritage site at Lah Wali Bowli and conducted a detailed inspection of the site and reviewed the DPR.
The DDC directed the stakeholder departments to undertake stone masonry work without disturbing the natural source of water, emphasizing the need to preserve the water structure in its original form. He further instructed for proper demarcation of the area, removal of encroachments and fencing of the Bowli to keep it clean.
He also directed for creation of separate designated space for washing of clothes, toilet facility and development of a smooth and safe pathway leading towards the Bowli for the convenience of the public, especially women and elderly visitors.
The District Development Commissioner was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Malikzada Sheraz ul Haq; SDM Thanamandi, Abid Hussain; Tehsildar Thanamandi, Mazhar Ali; BDO, Ahtisaham; Executive Engineer Thanamandi, Sajad Khan; AEE Rana Iqbal, besides other district and sectoral officers.
