JAMMU, Dec 24: Three-day training programme on Contract Management and Arbitration for NHPC by the Indian Institute of Management Jammu, concluded today with a valedictory ceremony.
The programme was designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of contemporary contract management practices and arbitration mechanisms, with a strong focus on practical applicability in professional settings.
Addressing the participants, Prof Sanjeev Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, emphasized that the programme signifies the beginning of a long-term association between NHPC and IIM Jammu and highlighted plans to explore an advanced five-day cohort in the future.
The programme summary was presented by Dr Naveen Goyal, Programme Director, IIM Jammu, who provided a comprehensive overview of the sessions, key takeaways, and learning outcomes achieved during the three days.
Designed to enhance participants’ understanding of contemporary contract management practices and arbitration mechanisms, the programme received highly positive feedback for its structured sessions, practical relevance, and engaging faculty.
The programme also provided a platform for peer learning and exchange of perspectives among participants from diverse professional backgrounds. The overall coordination, learning environment, and hospitality at IIM Jammu were widely commended.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Parvathy B, Programme Director, IIM Jammu. It was coordinated by the Executive Education and Consultancy (EE&C) vertical of IIM Jammu, represented by Pardeep Saini, Program Officer, Business Development, EE&C; Mohd Arif, Executive; Rupali Jamwal, Junior Executive; and Anil Singh, Executive Assistant.
