JAMMU, Dec 19: Sikh community members of Block Bhalwal and Marh of Jammu rural and adjoining areas are going to take out Nagar Kirtan on Dec 21 in connection with the 359th birthday celebration of 10th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Talking to the media persons former DGPC Member Mohinder Singh said that in connection with the birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Sikh Sangat has organised a “Vishal Nagar Kirtan” on December 21, 2025 (Sunday) under the presidentship of Sukhjit Singh.
On this auspicious occasion Sangat is invited to seek the blessings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The Nagar Kirtan will commence at 10:30 am. From Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar Dyaran (Bhalwal) and will culminate at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Jungwari (Bhalwal) Jammu at 2:30 pm.
He further said that on this procession the Sangat of Jammu district is invited to join Nagar- Kirtan and seek blessings of the great Guru. Every year /devotees pay obeisance on this pious occasion by chanting Shabad Gurbani by Ragees and religious preachers.
Among others who attended the conference included Kulwant Singh, Prem Singh, Balwant Singh, and Gurdev Singh.
