SAMBA, Dec 19: Samba police has seized five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, in charge of Police Posts (PPs) Supwal and Mansar of PS Samba and in charge Police Post (PP) Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21C-2988, JK02CG-2974, JK21G-6049, JK21D-9880, JK21G-7597 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
The Seizure was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
