KULGAM, Dec 4: A free medical camp was organised today by Redwani Bala Company of 1 RR (MAHAR) at Cricket Ground, Redwani Bala in Kulgam district.
A large number of local residents benefitted from the medical camp.
The initiative was aimed at providing medical assistance and healthcare awareness to the people of the area.
A team of doctors from Block Qaimooh along with Army doctors examined the patients and offered free medical consultation and medicines.
BMO Qaimooh, Dr. Gowhar Ali, along with other Army officers, was present at the event. The organisers stated that such programmes help to strengthen the bond between the Army and civilians while ensuring that quality healthcare reaches remote areas.
Locals appreciated the Army and medical staff for conducting the camp and hoped that such welfare activities would continue in future also.
