SAMBA, Nov 27: Samba police has seized seven vehicles including six dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PSs) Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ghagwal and in charge Police Post (PP) Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized six dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21E-7583, JK21H-9222, JK14E-2750, JK19-4653, JK02DS-2096, JK02DS-6849 and a tractor trolley without Number which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. The seizure was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
