JAMMU, July 17: In a significant meeting of Estates Employees Welfare Association was convened to discuss problems of the employees which among others was attended by Director Estates, Deputy Director and Executive Engineer of the Department.
The charter of demands put forth by the association was discussed threadbare and the authorities were of the opinion that most of the demands were of significant importance and genuine for the welfare of the employees and the department. All the demands were agreed to be solved at the earliest and the employees would heave a sigh of relief.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included president Shashi Pal Singh, vice president Yash Pal Jogi, general secretary Sushil Kumar, chairman S Satnam Singh, secretary Hans Raj and other office bearers namely S S Chouhan, Radha Krishan, Tarsem Lal, Satish Kumar, Mangi Ram, Girdhari Lal, Ram Pal, Rash Pal, Mrs Rozy etc.
