Youth 4 PK terms Margdarshan resolution as corner stone

Holds interaction with KP activists

JAMMU, Nov 21: Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (PK) held an interaction with prominent members of Kashmiri Pandit community here, today to deliberate on future course of action regarding Mahaabiyaan to be started from Jagti township on January 16 next year.
The interactive session among Youth 4 PK was attended by Rahul Kaul its chairman, Vithal Choudhary president, Digamber Raina general secretary and Rajinder Kachroo. They dwelt at length on the future course of struggle being launched by the organisation by roping in all KP bodies working in different fields and who were associated with community struggle for last 36 years.
The Youth 4 PK representatives made it clear that no settlement in clusters will be acceptable to the community which has faced seven migrations so far. Reiterating settlement in separate homeland within Valley as per Margdarsan resolution is the only solution to the problems of displaced Pandits leading an exiled life in their country for last over three decades, they said entire community has unanimity over the same.
They made it clear that the successive Governments failed to do justice to displaced Pandits who have been forced to flee from their homes by Jehadi elements and community is committed to reclaim their lost land with which their over 5000 year old civilisation is linked.
They appealed the community to be part of the Mahaabiyan and make their contribution in this movement to take the struggle to logical conclusion.
“Reclaiming our land in Kashmir is our birth right and no one can deny us the same. We showed lot of resilience over these years as the nationalist and patriotic people but now it is time that we should intensify our struggle for attaining the Margdrshan resolution,” said Rahul Kaul.
Vithal Choudhary while seeking support of the community in its future mission highlighted the activities of the Youth 4 PK till date. He exuded confidence that various organisations at national level have also assured full support to the displaced Pandits in reclaiming their land.
The KP activists who attended the meeting included P L Sudeshi, president All Kashmiri Displaced United Front, Sanjay Ganjoo, president Durga Nagar Welfare Committee, Shadi Lal Rais, general secretary Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust, Ramesh Marhatta, well known broadcaster, Ramesh Raina, trade unionist, Ravinder Thaploo, Ajay Tackoo, social activists, Ramesh Mahajan, president Kashmiri Hindu Mahajan Sabha, Kuldeep Raina, president Kheer Bhawani Manzgam, Sharda Nandan, socio-religious activist and others.
