Youth must lead India’s march towards Viksit Bharat 2047: Kavinder

INDORE, Nov 15: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta here today urged the youth of India to become the driving force behind the nation’s journey towards a self-reliant, modern and Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Addressing students at the Convocation Ceremony of SAGE University, the LG emphasised that PM Modi’s vision for Viksit Bharat 2047 places youth at the centre of national development.
“The next two decades will define India’s global standing and it is the responsibility of the young generation to convert their learning into meaningful service to society,” he maintained adding: “The youth must evolve into creators, thinkers and leaders capable of building India’s technological and economic strength.”
Kavinder urged the students to embrace new ideas, cultivate modern skills and make their efforts nation-centric.
“The success of Viksit Bharat depends on how effectively our youth transform knowledge into innovation and innovation into impact,” he said.
Highlighting Ladakh’s rapid transformation, the LG said the Himalayan Union Territory is steadily advancing as a national hub in education, climate studies, renewable energy, mountain ecology and cutting-edge research.
He noted that Ladakh has achieved significant progress in modernising school infrastructure, integrating technology into classrooms and expanding access to quality higher education.
Earlier, the Lt Governor awarded degrees at the Fifth Convocation Ceremony of SAGE University, Indore, where 5 D.Litt, 35 Ph.D, and a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees were conferred upon students from diverse disciplines.
Sanjeev Agrawal, Chancellor of SAGE University, congratulated all graduating students and urged them to apply their knowledge meaningfully in their professional and personal lives.
