JAMMU, Nov 4: A meeting of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust (SLNMMT) Gandhi Nagar was held here today to fill-up the vacant post of the president which fell vacant due to the untimely demise of the sitting president of the Trust.
Before initiating the proceedings, all trustees, special invitees, Pandits, temple workers and staff members jointly paid floral tribute to the departed late president Th. Gulchain Singh Charak.
The trustees then unanimously approved and elected V.K Abrol (Chief Engineer Retd) as president of SLNMMT Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
After taking over as the Trust president, V.K Abrol sought cooperation from all to take forward the programmes and maintenance of the temple and all the trustees assured him of full cooperation.
Trust members and others present on the occasion were S.C Rekhi, general secretary; Harish Malhotra, Romesh Thakur, Deepak Gupta, Karan Singh, P.C Gupta, Kapil Slathia, Gambir Dev Singh Charak, Krishan P Gupta, Sumesh Damral, Tarun Gupta, Ved Verma, Uma Katal, Ashok Khajuria, Ashok Gupta, Kulbir Singh Chib, Vineet Dubey and Pankul Vaid.
