DODA, Oct 31: Continuing the tradition of honoring the supreme sacrifices of police martyrs and encouraging their children to excel in academics, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta today felicitated the outstanding wards of police martyrs, who achieved remarkable results in the annual examinations of Police Public School, Doda.
The meritorious students were awarded letters of appreciation, cash rewards of Rs 1000 each, school bags and notebooks as a token of encouragement for their dedication and hard work.
The students who were felicitated for their exceptional performance included, Aruba Younis, daughter of Martyr SPO Mohd Younis, 64.2% in Class 10th, Rinku Devi, daughter of Martyr SPO Jarman Singh, 75% in Class 10th and Rozia Banoo, daughter of Martyr SPO Noor Mohd, 81% in Class 10th.
Congratulating the students, SSP Mehta appreciated their resilience and commitment to studies despite personal hardships.
He reaffirmed that the families of police martyrs remain an integral part of the Police Parivar and assured continued support and recognition for them.
The event was attended by DySP DAR Doda, DySP Headquarters Doda, Principal Police Public School Doda and the legal guardians of the students.
