SRINAGAR, Oct 4: Continuing its efforts to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the younger generation, J&K Bank organised multiple Login Day events across Jammu and Kashmir under Mission YUVA this week.
A statement said hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs received sanction letters, marking a major step towards turning their business ideas into reality.
The events were held at various district and zonal offices with the participation of senior Government officials, bank officers, and enthusiastic youth.
Officials praised the Bank’s proactive role in implementing the Government’s flagship Mission YUVA programme and urged beneficiaries to pursue their ventures with innovation to create more jobs.
In Samba, General Manager Ashutosh Sareen chaired the event with the ADDC as co-chair, while in Ganderbal, GM Rakesh Koul led proceedings in presence of Zonal Head (Budgam) and other officials.
Anantnag also hosted a similar function chaired by GM Peer Masood Ahmad alongside ADDC, where sanction letters were distributed among local youth.
In Jammu, GM Syed Rais Maqbool chaired the event with the ADDC, joined by senior bank officers and administration officials.
In Bhaderwah, GM Anand Pal Singh led the programme with the ADC, while in Baramulla, GM Rajesh Gupta presided over the function, both events witnessing sanction letters being handed to beneficiaries.
Rajouri also hosted a Login Day chaired by GM Rajesh Malla Tickoo with the ACR as co-chair.
In Udhampur, the Deputy Commissioner chaired the function in presence of GM Tariq Ali and other officers.
Similarly, in Pulwama, GM Rakesh Magotra distributed sanction letters to young entrepreneurs along with the Zonal Head and cluster heads.
Speaking on the occasion, the Bank’s leadership emphasised that Mission YUVA is designed to turn the youth into job creators by offering them financial support and guidance.
They said the Bank sees young entrepreneurs as the driving force of socio-economic transformation in the region.
