JAMMU, Oct 3: To discuss various strategies aimed at further boosting tourism in the Jammu region, social activist & chairman of the Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra, called on Director of Tourism, Jammu, Dr Vikas Gupta, here today.
During the meeting, Chopra lauded the exemplary efforts of the Director Tourism and his dedicated team for the tremendous work being done to promote tourism through the successful organization of several impactful events.
“The initiatives undertaken by Dr Vikas Gupta are commendable. The consistent effort to organize diverse events has significantly enhanced Jammu’s visibility as a tourist destination,” said Chopra.
“We, at Samvedna Society, appreciate their hard work and dedication which is truly transforming the tourism landscape of our region,” he said.
Director Tourism acknowledged the appreciation and shared details about the ongoing and planned activities of the department.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the region’s development, stating, “We are dedicated to unlocking the full tourism potential of Jammu. We are thankful for the support from civil society groups like Samvedna Society and assure everyone that we will continue to work even harder to ensure that Jammu becomes a top-tier tourist destination.”
