Kishtwar, Sept 24: Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma, today visited Chishoti village in Paddar, which was severely impacted by a devastating cloudburst. He met with affected families, reviewed ongoing relief measures and assessed the pace of reconstruction work.
During the visit, Sharma held a meeting with the affected families regarding reconstruction and rebuilding efforts. Key concerns, immediate requirements, and steps towards a timely and sustainable recovery were discussed in detail, with an assurance that the rehabilitation process will remain responsive and community-focused.
Sharma expressed solidarity with the residents, commending their courage and resilience in the face of adversity. He assured the community that every possible effort would be made to rebuild homes, restore basic infrastructure, and ensure that the people of Chishoti receive timely support.
He further emphasized that the swift progress in reconstruction is a testament to the determination of both the administration and the local community. “The people of Chishoti have shown extraordinary strength. Together, we will ensure that the village recovers stronger than before,” Sharma said.
