JAMMU, Sept 18: Bollywood actor-producer Arjun Mahajan and the first female director of J&K, Aprajita Pixie Mahajan today commenced the shooting of their much-awaited children’s film Pixie in Wonderland Part-2: “Prisoners of the Phone”.
The muhurat shoot was held at KC Public School, where Rajesh Gupta, Chairman of Hare Rama Hare Krishna Productions, broke the ceremonial coconut and clapped the first shot.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta said that both Arjun Mahajan and Aprajita Pixie Mahajan are deeply passionate about showcasing the raw talent of Jammu through children’s films.
He said, “The enthusiasm of the parents and their support for their children’s participation in cinema is remarkable. This shows how Jammu is gradually emerging as a hub for young talent.”
Gupta further extended his gratitude to the KC Public School administration for their wholehearted cooperation in facilitating the film’s shoot on the campus.
This new venture is special as it brings together 19 budding stars from different schools of Jammu, including KC Public School, who will be seen on screen as part of the film.
Parents of the young actors, school faculty, crew members and the principal of KC Public School enthusiastically attended the launch ceremony.
Pixie in Wonderland 2: Prisoners of the Phone is being hailed as a unique project that blends entertainment with a strong message for children, while also giving a platform to the fresh faces of Jammu to shine on the silver screen.
